Full-grain calfskin with a goatskin grain finish
This goatskin grained leather has been specially developed for our iconic Sans Couture bag. Its embossing reproduces the grain of goatskin, recalling the historic Sans Couture purse awarded the Prix d'Argent in 1900 and which was crafted from goatskin. Full-grain leather has a surface that looks natural and stays intact. This is the most premium part of the leather. This is the part we use.
Twilight Cowhide Split Lining
For the lining of our Sans Couture bags, we have opted for an interior leather with a natural touch, as well as a most elegant and timeless twilight shade. Our Sans Couture line is the very expression of Le Tanneur's know-how. Through each of the pieces that compose it, it reflects all the love we have for beautiful materials and finishes.
Le Tanneur dedicates particular attention to its pieces made in the Pays de la Loire, where the finest references in its catalog originate. "Made in France" is a long chapter inherited from its century-old know-how and is soon to become a pillar for the House, which prioritizes manufacturing within France.
For over five years, Le Tanneur has continuously developed its range of products made in France, pursuing two objectives: preserving its historical expertise and proudly showcasing French leather craftsmanship. This is achieved by working with the finest materials selected in France or Italy.
From the expert hands in the workshops to the customers' hands, including those of the reseller, the weaver, or the polisher, each takes the utmost care of Le Tanneur's pieces. The House creates a unique value chain in France, ensuring that its creations endure over time, becoming more beautiful year after year.
